About Me
ME IN GENERAL
I am 18 years old and I love life. That's why I hope to be a fertility nurse, so I can bring the joy of life and children to all who want it and maybe are incapable. I have been a cheerleader for 5 years and was a gymnast before that. Also I am a member of Spanish National Honors Society, National Honors Society, and Student council. I attend 12 Stone church and am going to the University of North Georgia in Fall 2017 to major in Nursing.
MY INTERNSHIP
My name is Kendall Gravitt and I intern at Guilford Immediate Care. My mentor's name is Amy Robertson, but I mainly observe Megan Norris and Jamie Moore. At my internship, I observe the medical technicians, nurses and the nurse practitioners. I have had the opportunity to learn how to triage patients, which mean I can take patients' temperatures and pulse oximeters. At my internship I like to help in whatever ways I am able to help. I clean exam rooms, organize the tools in the rooms and restock the supplies. I enjoy being in the clinical atmosphere and the experience at Guilford has made my ecstatic to start my career as a fertility nurse.
